Sri Lanka ECT construction deal to China Harbor, Access Engineering

State-run Sri Lanka Ports Authority has awarded a contract to expand a partially built container terminal to China Harbor Engineering Company and Access Engineering.

The cabinet had approved the award after evaluating three bids, a government statement said.

Out of 1320 quay wall 575 meters had been built with the adjacent yard.

The balance quay wall and container yard has to be built.

The statement did not disclose the value of the bid or the work involved.
