Gulf Air Sri Lanka felicitates outstanding passenger and cargo agents

Gulf Air recently hosted an awards night to recognise their top-performing passenger and cargo agents in Sri Lanka for their continuous support that ensured its success in 2023. 

The awards ceremony, held at the Spice Room, Shangri-la, Colombo, on 1 March, was graced by the presence of the Sri Lanka team along with the Country Manager and Senior Sales Manager Rashid Abdulrahman AlGaoud from Head office, and the dedicated passenger and cargo teams who presented the well-deserved awards to the local agents.

The event’s highlight was celebrating the longstanding partnership with top agents from the passenger and cargo sector.

The top performing passenger agents in order of highest achievement were presented to Inqbaytor Group Ltd., 2nd Chance Ltd., and Classic Travel Ltd.

Certificates were presented to Acorn Travels Ltd., Amja Travels Ltd., Metro Voyage Ltd., Sharmila Travels and Tours Ltd., The Kandy Travels and Leisure Ltd., The Traveller Global Ltd., and Travel Call Ltd.

The top performing cargo agents in order of highest achievement were presented to Expolanka Freight Ltd., EMG Logistics Ltd. and MSA Air Ltd.

Certificates were presented to DSV Pership Ltd., Fast Logistics Lanka, Freight Links International Ltd., Global Cargo Care Ltd., Hub Lanka Ltd., Prestige International Logistics Ltd. and Target Logistics Solutions Ltd.

Expressing gratitude to the agents, the Country Manager for Sri Lanka and Maldives Khalid Ahmed Abdulrahman stated, “Gulf Air has been able to successfully serve our customers in Sri Lanka in the past and will continue to do so in the years to come. Our growth in the region has been possible because of the continuous support and contribution that we have received from our trade partners.

Gulf Air, connecting to 59 destinations across 28 countries in Africa, Asia, and Europe from its hub at Bahrain International Airport, operates daily flights from Sri Lanka to Bahrain. The airline utilises a state-of-the-art Airbus 321NEO aircraft, featuring 16 flatbed Business Class and 150 Economy class seats.
